Deadly Funfair Accident In Ohio
Drama at public festival
Tragic ending of a joyride: At an accident with the "Giang-Pendulum" at an American funfair, at least one person has died. Seven other persons where badly injured at Wednesday in Columbus, Ohio. A piece of the passenger car broke and the occupants were literally thrown into the air.
According to the local firefighters the person who died was only 18 years old. The young man was thrown about 15 meters into the air and got injured deadly on the impact on the ground. Three other people are still in danger of life.
One piece of the gondola got broken on the ride.
At least two were thrown meters wide into the air and ended up landing on their backs on a concrete floor.
One witness is telling, who had come to the Ohio State Fair.

Somehow, in the back of my mind, I always have this phobia for all kinds of joyrides.
Yeah true, that's why I dislike this "joyrides" too. Looks so horrible...
The risk I think is not worth the thrill
