1. China Set to Burst the Myth

You might have heard about Black holes and its remarkable properties. One of the most phenomenal is its gravitational force and it's believed that its gravitational force is so humongous that even light can not get out. The name 'Black hole' is actually based on the fact that since light can not get out of it, it's not visible. There are lot of controversies and differences among astronomers about black-holes. To answer the unanswerable questions and to burst myths about black holes, China took an initiative and launched space telescope.

China has recently launched a space telescope that will look for black holes. The telescope is equipped with X-rays transmitter and based on these rays it will scan the universe for black holes, looking for insights on their evolution. Apart from blackholes, the 2.5-ton telescope will also detect spinning dead stars called pulsars. Scientists hope to use these dead stars to aid navigation system of spacecraft.

2. Forest Fire in Central Portugal

An unfortunate calamity that took place in Central Portugal claimed at least 43 lives, according to official sources. According to PM Antonio Costa this was the greatest tragedy Portugal has seen in recent years in terms of forest fires. Portugal has experienced a heatwave with a temperature above 40C in some areas. A real cause behind Forest fire is still unknown, but experts believe that thunderstorm could have been one possible cause.
Four major natural causes of forest ignition are the following

  1. Lightning
  2. Spark from rock falls
  3. spontaneous combustion
  4. Volcanic eruption

3. Amazon Set to Buy Whole Foods

After introducing revolutionary change in shopping style, Amazon is ready to. take another great leap which will mark its biggest push into traditional retailing. The online seller is set to buy whole food market in deal valued $13.7 billion.
Amazon founder and chief executive Jeff Bezos said: "Millions of people love Whole Foods Market because they offer the best natural and organic foods, and they make it fun to eat healthy.

What will shopping At Whole Foods Feel Like After Amazon's Deal

Food analyst David Portalatin of the NPD Group, a market research company said that Whole foods will be lot different than it looks today, for sure. The store could teach cooking skills, hold classes and educate about food. Besides, market impacts will be challenging for other food retail chains, for instance, Costco stock's price has already tumbled a bit. Furthermore, Moody's analyst described Amazon-Whole foods deal as a "transformative transaction, not just for food retail, but for retail in general."

4. Trump's wall and Ecosystem

One of the many promises Donald Trump had made during election campaign was to build a wall along the US-Mexico border. The reasons put behind this step were to stop illegal immigrants and illegal trade which had cause a great harm to the country. The promise has already remained one of the central and most controversial promises of Donald Trump on humanitarian basis. Apart from humanitarian basis, scientists from the Arizona are starting unravel the negative impacts that such a wall have on desert ecosystem it will cut through. Two main concerns raised by the scientist are as following:

  1. As the wall passes through four key wildlife reserves, US Fish & Wildlife Service (FWS) has estimated that it will threaten 111 endangered species.
  2. Such separation be plant and animal population by building a concrete impermeable wall promotes inbreeding a decrease in genetic diversity, which makes many species more vulnerable to diseases and epidemics.

5. Beyonce gives birth to twins

6. Coconut oil dilemma

Till now, it was believed that coconut oil is a healthy food and some claim the fat in it may be better for us but according to recent publication by American Heart Association(AHA), coconut oil could be as unhealthy as beef fat because it is packed with saturated fat which can raise the level of LDL, aka bad cholesterol, that can leads to heart attack.
The advice around which fats are healthy and which are unhealthy at times can be very confusing. As a rule of thumb, foods packed with saturated fats are unhealthy such as animal fats, while plant oils, such as sunflower and olive oil, are seen as healthier.
