Linkin Park vocalist found dead, allegedly hanged by himself

Linkin Park rock band vocalist, Chester Bennington was found dead at his home in Palos Verdes Estates, Thursday, July 20, 2017. He died at the age of 41 years.

The news of Bennington's departure was delivered by LA County Coroner spokesman.

As quoted from CNN, Friday (21/07/2017), coroner investigators deployed to the victim's house on Thursday morning at 09.00 local time.

The apparatus said it was treating the death case as an alleged suicide. Meanwhile, as quoted from the BBC, Bennington allegedly hanged himself.

The late left a wife and six children from two marriages.

If the alleged suicide proved true, the man born in Phoenix, Arizona was the same fate with his best friend, Chris Cornell - the Soundgarden vocalist who finished his life in May 2017.

Formed in 1996, Linkin Park has sold more than 70 million albums worldwide. Two Grammy Awards also won the rock band.

A number of hits also produced bands born in Agoura Hills, California, including, "Faint", "In The End", and "Crawling".

The success of Linkin Park started in 2000 with the album Hybrid Theory. At that time Bennington has become the main vocalist.

Meanwhile, the Meteora album topped the Billboard 200 charts in 2003 and is considered one of the largest indie rock recordings in history.

"Surprised and heartbroken, but it's true." Official statement will be issued soon, "wrote Linkin Park member Mike Shinoda on his Twitter account @mikeshinoda, confirming Bennington's death.

The news of the grief is certainly a surprise for Linkin Park who plans to start his tour next week in Boston. Their newest album One More Light just released last May....
