Joe Biden and Kamala Harris were officially inaugurated as president and vice president of the United States (US) on January 20, 2021. The pair, who were promoted by the Democratic Party, managed to replace the position of Donald Trump-Mike Pence from the Republican Party.
In the 2020 election, Joe Biden-Kamala Harris won with a vote of more than 74 million Americans, and bagged 306 electoral votes.
Before becoming US president, Joe Biden served as vice president of Barack Obama for two terms. Prior to that, he was Senator of Delaware from 1972-2009.

Joe Biden's Childhood and Youth
Joe Biden's full name is Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr. He was born in Scranton, Pennsylvania on November 20, 1942. His father, Joe Biden, Sr. is a fireplace cleaner and used car dealer, while her mother is Catherine Eugenia Finnegan.
When he was 10 years old, the Biden family moved to Delaware. Whenever asked about his house, Biden always replied that he came from Delaware, not Scranton. There, he spent his childhood and youth, as well as attending the University of Delaware.
At the University of Delaware, Joe Biden took two majors at once: the Department of History and Political Science. Subsequently, he continued his master's degree in law at Syracuse University.
From Law to Politics and Education
Early in his career, Joe Biden worked as a lawyer at a law firm in Wilmington. At the same time, he was working part-time as a public defender assisting people who couldn't afford the firm's lawyers.
In 1970, he resigned from law and entered politics. Two years later, in 1972, Joe Biden was elected a US senator at the age of 29.
Apart from being a politician, from 1991 to 2008, Joe Biden was also a professor at Widener Law University, Wilmington, Delaware.
Joe Biden Had Brain Surgery
In February 1988, after experiencing severe neck pain, Joe Biden was rushed to Walter Reed Army Medical Center Hospital. Apparently, he had a cerebral blood vessel leak or a brain aneurysm. In order to recover, he had to undergo brain surgery.
After the operation, while recovering, he again suffered from a pulmonary embolism which made him experience serious complications. A few months later, Biden had another operation. As a result, for seven months, he took a leave of absence from his job as a senator.
