VIDEO - As hurricane José threatens Saint-Martin and Saint-Barthélemy in turn, celebrities accustomed to stay there show solidarity by opening their villas to the inhabitants of the devastated islands.

Hurricane Irma has devastated the Caribbean islands. There are at least nine deaths, seven missing and 112 wounded. This Saturday, September 9, 60% of the houses are now uninhabitable in Saint-Martin. Also struck by the disaster, Saint-Barthélemy is now preparing for the arrival of Hurricane José and its winds of 240km / h. Any help is therefore welcome and certain personalities, the destination being very prized, have responded to the call.

Host Alessandra Sublet launched the initiative on Friday 8 September on her Twitter account: "In St Barth we are looking for home owners who could welcome the locals! Many have lost theirs and José arrives. " Several Internet users responded, submitting the names of Johnny Hallyday and his wife Laeticia, great regulars of Saint-Barthélemy. The answer was not long in coming: "He (Johnny Hallyday) has already opened his house," said a relative of the couple to the AFP. Their villa in the north of the island is partially damaged, but the rest is habitable.
