South African President Recalled
It's Finally Happened
The day most of us in South African have been waiting for, has finally come, the ANC has requested the president to resign.
South Africa is a dominant-party, constitutional republic, which means that the ruling party gets to pick who the president of the country is. We the people, do not have a say in this, which means they also get to fire him when they so choose. This has now finally happen, they have officially recalled the president.

Most of you don't know much about this guy, but I'm here to give a little bit of background about him.
The of the biggest highlights that sand out to me personally was what he siad a few years back after a scandal in the media, where he had unprotected sex with a young lady who was HIV positive. When asked about fears of contracting Aids, he told reporters that he had taken a shower, to was away any chance of him contracting the disease. He is also married to seven or nine wives, and engaged to a few more, and he has 22 children.
He has been accused of 736 charges of corruption for his actions before his presidency, and about three years ago he spent about 380 million rand on his personal home with tax payer's money. His schooling is also not that amazing, as he has not gotten passed grade ten. This is very noticeable when he has to read numbers.

Zuma has until the end of the day to resign, which most believe he will not do, and if he does not the ANC will put forth a motion of no confidence in the president tomorrow.
This is something the opposition parties have been trying to do for the last 7 years, but the ANC holds 65% of the seats in the house, also not exactly an opposition.
Cyril Ramaphosa, was recently made the president of the ANC, which means he will take the place of JZ as president, that is until the election in 2019. Ramaphosa is to be sworn in as president on tomorrow after the vote, and the then the state of the nation address will be on Friday. I'm personally very skeptical of him, but at least he did go to university and has a mind for business, so I'm hoping for the best.

Well I wouldn’t cheer them on too much, they failed to do so for 8 years. It would kind of be like giving credit to someone who did one thing right but failed at their job for 8 years.
Indeed they failed for 8 years.
