"The fact that the government of Maduro is shaken in some way is due to its refusal to allow the recall referendum, the division in the opposition, an army deeply compromised by corruption," reads the web portal

Venezuela, a country that became the richest in Latin America, became a test site to determine how much economic and social stress a society can tolerate until it reaches total anarchy, according to the Washington Post in a Recent publication.

The Washington Post warns that Venezuelans have come close to breaking point after President Nicolás Maduro's decree to withdraw 100-peso bills in three days. They called the current government autocratic and populist.

Among the country's problems are the scarcity of food, medicines, among other consumer goods, as well as inflation: it has lost the buying value of the bolivar.

"For this month the ticket of 100 bolivars, the most important in circulation, was worth only 2 cents, forcing people to carry lots of them to make the purchases more rudimentary. Then came the coup: President Nicolás Maduro (...) announced that the six trillion 100-peso bills would cease to be legal tender in just 72 hours, "the publication said.

As a consequence of the measure began protests and looting in several states. In Ciudad Bolivar hundreds of businesses were assaulted and riots left three dead in just three days, forcing the Executive to extend the validity of the bills until January 2.

"The fact that Maduro's government falters in some way is due to its refusal to allow the recall referendum, the division in the opposition, an army deeply committed by corruption, including drug trafficking; As well as the deviation of international pressure (including that of the United States) in futile attempts to promote negotiations between the government and dissent. "

Finally, The Washington Post commented that instead of a political transition the country undergoes an integral decomposition of the order: "That its hemispheric neighbors are witnesses and do not put significant pressure on the government, it makes the failure even more profound".

Maduro will not go peacefully ...he does not give a F@*k about his people and being a president for him is more important than all the rest.

Fuerza Venezuela !!!!

I feel so bad for the people of Venezuela. I do hope they can find some sort of relief. More of them should look to switch to cryptos as a form of currency.
