“Trumps Grand Plan to arm Teachers”

Overview
Trump in all his trumping glory, has announced to arm teachers, in effort to reduce the mass shootings which occur in school.
There were plenty of people in his support and plenty who were against him. But this controversial idea might have practical usage to it.
Let’s break it down
why it would work?
Fewer casualties - Look at it from a practical point of view, there’ll be less casualties or even no casualties at all If teachers were able to handle guns inside the school. It’s a form of protection for the kids, that in the case of the mass shooting it could be used to subdue or kill the shooter immediately.
increased protection - Attacking a school full of guns wouldn’t be a nice idea, it’s like a lone tank bombing a military base which has lots of tanks. The shooter would be really stupid to hit at a school which has this kind of increased protection.
Why it wouldn’t work?
Easy access to guns - Yes teachers are armed, however this gives easier access to the guns available at a school. Let’s say a mass shooter decides to save his money and use the gun available from school.
human error - No one is perfect and every human being is susceptible to human error, carelessness is one of the trait. What if the teacher leaves their gun unattended? And some kid picks it up, that kid will endanger not only him and everyone in the school.
Abusing Authority - This links back to human error, where some teachers will use this to abuse their authority. Imagine your high school coach decides to threaten you with his shotgun because he can, or your English teacher decides to have fun and brings his gun and decides to play a game. A gun can be protection or a weapon, but it depends on whose holding it and whose it pointing towards.
These are all I could think of and my personal conclusion is that guns in the hands of teachers could cause more complications than not. Sure you could train them, but conflicts of interest challenge this narrative, whereby the teacher could’ve different goals then the instructor.
