What Is The Doomsday Clock
I generally like to post things which are most positive. The green content vibe which is part of this format is why I think this platform is most successful. Every now and again you come across an article that the topic is negative but the subject matter must be brought to light.
I remembering hearing about the Doomsday Clock along time ago. I lived through the cold war era and most millenials cannot even relate to that time in history. Since 1947 the members of the "Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists" have been monitoring what is known as the Doomsday Clock.
The clock represents the hypothetical global catastrophe caused by humans and when the clock reaches midnight...that's all folks. It has been set forward and backward 22 times since then (now 23 times), the smallest ever number of minutes to midnight being two (in 1953) and the largest seventeen (in 1991).
Back in the day the tension between Russia and the U.S.A was intense but I personally think the global and political landscape has intensified with non stop war. I do believe people should be made aware of this so that their future actions and can back the hands of time to a more positive outcome.
Will humanity survive the next 50 to 100 years or will the observance of scientific minds prove true?

I'm surprised it hasn't been moved on a monthly basis
With some of the events going on in the world it seems it could slip closer to midnight at anytime!
Has it occurred to anyone that this is further fearmongering by the predators who run this insane world?
I thought the same as well until 1991 when the clock was pushed backwards away from midnight... it dawned on me that maybe it was a consensous of scientific minds.
Fearmongers don't give you any hope at all. They cannot allow the seed of hope to spread. The only know fear.
