Grdelica Train Bombing war crime is one of the most reckless war crimes in our time.
On 12 April 1999, the US air force of the Commander-in-Chief Bill CLINTON raided a railway bridge when the train was passing. The perpetrator pilot could have calculated the best time for making the worst moment for the missile to reach the bridge. These are some important facts on this act of cruelty.
- The train moved so slowly so anyone could easily calculate when to fire the missile to make it reach out when the train was on it.
- The train was directly hit, whilst the bridge was almost undamaged! This poses the question about what was the real target.
- No military equipment was on the train. There were not even Serbian war personnel on that train. It was just a passenger train without anything of military significance.
- No people connected to the regime of Slobodan Milosevic were aboard. Every victim of this war crime was innocent by all means.
- The International Court of Justice and the International Court for war crimes in Former Yugoslavia dropped the case.
- None in the chain of command ever expressed any regret for this crime.
