Nothing will work unless the people are truly able to overcome the snitch culture that allows authoritarian, centralized and stupid interests to infiltrate at will. If you are trying to do something outside of their reach, such as these things, they will always come looking(remember truecrypt...). Resistance to the police state has to be the first thing, then all of the other solutions become possible. Otherwise we are just making more elaborate prison cells in the maze of lies we have now.
