Eight teams from four countries have made sure to qualify for the Champions League quarter-finals. There are Barcelona, Real Madrid and Sevilla representing Spain. Then, there are Liverpool and Manchester City who became the representative of England.
There are also Juventus and AS Roma who became the representative of Italy. And last Bayern Munich who became the representative of Germany.
In the draw held at UEFA headquarters, Nyon, Switzerland, Friday (16/3/2018) afternoon local time, teams from the same country allows to meet in this quarter-finals. In the draw, led by Andriy Shevchenko, as the Champions League final ambassador, eight teams of representatives were present at the venue.
Spain, with three teams, became the largest contributor of representatives. While for England, this becomes irony. Enter the Champions League this season with five representatives, but their clubs have fallen in the first phase of the autumn round.
Not good for England, two of their representatives directly meet in this quarter-finals. Yes, Liverpool will be hit with Manchester City in this round.
