In 1620 the Mayflower ship transported the so-called Pilgrims, from England to a point on the east coast of North America, becoming the first Anglo-Saxon settlers.
400 years later, another version of the Myflower but this time without crew and using solar and wind energy, will repeat the same trip to celebrate the pilgrims' trip.
The trip will last 12 days, instead of the 60 days of the 1620 trip. The ship is made of aluminum and composite materials, it will be 15 meters long and weigh 5 tons.
It will also have all kinds of sensors to measure oceanographic, climatic and meteorological data and has a super futuristic design.
