Natural image reconstruction from brain waves

An AI has been able to replicate the images a person is seeing from their brain waves. Decode your thoughts and rebuild them outside the brain in real time.

The device is based on artificial neural networks and electroencephalography or EEG, a technique that uses electrodes placed on the scalp, to record brain waves.

In the first phase of the experiment, the scientists realized that the brain waves were different for each group of images viewed.

Subsequently, the data obtained was used to train neural networks that, when analyzing these brain waves, the system is able to reconstruct in real time the images seen by a person undergoing EEG.

I don't know what you think, dear steemians, but it makes no illusion for me that my thoughts are read. Fortunately they are still nothing more than experiments.
