ေတာင္သမန္တံတားႀကီးသည္အမရပူရျမိဳ႕ေတာင္မင္းႀကီး(ညဏ္ေတာ္၁၄၆-ေပ-၁လက္မရွိသည္)ဘုရားအနီးမွအေရွဘတ္ေတာင္သမန္ရြာသုိ႕ကူးျဖတ္တည္ေဆာက္ထားသည္ေတာင္သမန္အင္းကုိကူးျဖတ္လ်ွက္တည္ေဆာက္ထားေသာေၾကာင့္ေတာင္သမန္တံတားဟူ၍ေခၚၾကသည္ထုိ႕ျပင္တံတားႀကီးတည္ေဆာက္စဥ္ကျမိဳ႕စာေရးဦးပိန္သည္ႀကီးမႈးလ်ွက္တည္ေဆာက္ခဲ႕ေသာတံတားျဖစ္၍ဦးပိန္တံတားဟူ၍လည္းေခၚၾကသည္သကၠရဇ္ ၁၂၀၉ ခုတေပါင္းလမွစတင္၍ကုန္းေဘာင္မင္း၁၁ဆတ္တြင္၉ဆတ္ေျမွာက္ပုဂံမင္းလက္ထက္မွာတံတားႀကီးကုိတည္ေဆာက္ခဲ႕သည္ ၁၂၁၁ ခုတေပါင္းလတြင္တံတားႀကီးေဆာက္၍ျပီးေျမွာက္သည္အခ်ိန္အားျဖင့္၂ႏွစ္မ်ွၾကာေသာ္လည္းဧရာဝတီျမစ္ေရတက္သျဖင့္တႏွစ္လ်ွင္၆လမ်ွေဆာက္လုပ္ေသာေၾကာင့္၁၂လတစ္ႏွစ္ခန္႕သာျဖစ္သည္
