Biggest Threat So Far

Oh my word, as a homesteader, mom and organic farmer, I think this is the biggest threat so far to our freedom, farmers, our food supply, our food, our water, our beautiful earth and ALL living creatures!

This is like a nuclear bomb going off in every grocery store in every country at the same time.

BIG DEAL

Yes, it is a big deal. As in BIG money deal and also BIG safety deal.

US Department of Justice approved Bayer's merger with Monsanto. This is the biggest consolidation among other mergers ever happened.

Of course the article only highlights a commercial concern.

What? Really? Only worried about "prices and future business"?

How about

• more lawsuits on farmers affected with Monsanto's GMO crops
• organic food standard going less "organic" because of the money giant's claws on organic boards (already happening! it's just going to get worse )
  1. USDA withdraws regulations on outdoor access requirement for organic livestock and poultry.
  2. USDA reapproves carageenan. It was already removed from national list of approved additives for organic food.
• organic food prices skyrocketing making clean food more un-affordable for everyone
• more real farms bankrupt and forced to sell off to corporate mega-farms that produce food-like substances
• water more toxic to human consumption

One thing is for sure, the DOJ is not about justice. It can only be about towing the line of the money powers.
