F.B.I. Bombshell!!!

Yesterday the Inspector General's office dropped a nearly 600-page report outlining a wide array of procedural violations made by the FBI and the DOJ based on the notion of political bias. Although the final review by Inspector General Michael Horowitz concluded that there was no evidence of bias affecting the prosecution, he did note that there was in fact bias found within the investigation itself. These findings have caused a firestorm on the hill with names such a Trey Gowdy stating that it was in deed a "a dark day... for the FBI and DOJ".

However, it appears that this could just be the beginning of the bureaus problems as the report only covered the handling of the Clinton email investigation.

Now there is a growing consensus that there will be an a second report released from the IG which would cover the Trump campaign spying and could potentially be very damaging to the bureaus reputation. This new report would investigate the alleged FISA abuses that were used to conduct surveillance on the Trump Campaign. Moreover, the report could support the notion that the FBI and DOJ had been weaponized to undermine the democratic process.
