but what is the problem to admit that @ned or @dan have more authority here than me? or do you disentangle authority from hierarchy?
The question is — what kind of authority?
You see, sustainable world does not work by the principle of force, but by the principle of service. @ned or @dan are successful because they have provided good service, and not because they have the control over you.

The hierarchy with which we have start this discussion is clearly political hierarchy. “Hierarchies of competence” are NOT political hierachies. Nor will ever be. Political hierarchies are composed to favor incompetent but obedient. They create monsters like Ben Swann has described.
