XLM Stellar Lumens jumps 20% As Stripe Comments On It's Likely Incorporation Into Its Payment Gateway
To The Moon ... or at least the STRIPEosphere
The value of XLM got a boost Tuesday as STRIPE payment services announced it was dropping support for Bitcoin and would likely add support for Stellar Lumens XLM, as reported by FUD Network CNBC.
I even use STRIPE for my own payment solution with my website hosting company replacing the much more costly Quickbooks-online some months ago for the forward leaning payment solution.
Stripe is much more innovative offering a robust API that lets users build their own front ends to the service. AS well stellar says transactions on its network settle in under 5 seconds, for a tiny fraction of a penny.
We love the web, and care deeply about beautiful code, APIs, and documentation. We really like startups and building products—the people at Stripe have previously helped start Skype, Lala, Act Blue, Kickoff, Interstate, Auctomatic, Encyclopedia, GazeHawk, and Wesabe.
Along with the Startups named above that STRIPE has gotten involved with they were also a seed funder for Stellar Lumens so the likely hood they will adopt the XLM Token is pretty good going forward. Particularly when you consider they have already dipped their digital toes into he cryptocurrency payment pool with #BTC.
So looking even further into the deep end of the Stellar Lumens crypto pool lets see who has invested in Stripe. Stripe's investors include Sequoia Capital, Andreessen Horowitz, and PayPal co-founders Peter Thiel, Max Levchin, and Elon Musk.
So could we see PayPal elect to add XLM Lumens in the future? Only HODLers will benefit if they do. Once the rocket blast off for the moon you don't want to be left with your bags looking at an empty launch pad.
My opinion going forward on Lumens is it is a buy and HODL token.
