No one gets anything 100% right that’s why markets are valuable. It allows us to see endless versions of the same ideas to quickly learn what works and doesn’t work. Society works the same way that in our interpersonal dealings our diversity allows us to learn the best from everyone and see the worst.
Like markets there are a lot of failures, disruption and volatility in how things are done but it allows for greater successes and stability in the long run.
Many companies would love to have a country where the people could only buy stuff from them but stagnation would be the result, it’s no different for cultures.
Markets are about diversity and diversity is a market.

Free expression and free market are the core principles of the west, or at least they were. That's what kept it ahead of everything else.
But to avoid confusion, don't use diversity, that word has been tainted so much by the #DiversityIsOurStrength bullshit, it's disgusting to pronounce. Don't get me wrong, I understand you wish to reclaim it, and I'm no SJW to demand a synonym, but damn, it's so weird to say that word now...
