Bill would block porn on new phones, computers unless consumers pay a tax

The Human Trafficking Prevention Act would require that all new internet-connected devices be equipped with a porn filter. Consumers who want to unlock the filter would have to pay a one-time fee of $20 on each device.

They should just call this what it is. A money grab. Another excuse for taxation. Another way they can get money from you to waste.

It's meant to get money from most of you. Not everyone. There is no enforcement mechanism. All they want is more money. That's all this is-another form of taxation. Their goal is not to reduce porn; they could care less. But they will go out and find experts to talk about how porn is addictive and how it leads to sex trafficking. Their goal isn't even to reduce sex trafficking, That's just the made-up boogie man for justification. They talk about how sex trafficking is bad but all this is is a way to make profit off of it not reduce it.
