One guys trash is the other's treasure
Historical NASA computers stolen!
That could have been the headline in the newspaper when a scrap dealer called NASA and told them about an recently died engineers cellar.
The scrap dealer found "property of NASA" labeled old computer hardware down there, moldering slightly. He suspected it stolen and reported it.
of the tapes that were labelled, the content appeared to be space science related with missions including Pioneer and Helios and the inclusive date range was 1967-1974.
But as the family of the late engineer said, it was just waste that the late nerd was free to take and NASA said they didn't want the trash back.
I love the idea of promoting Steemit!! @lennstar
No wonder dumpster diving is still the #1 go to for espionage.
funny we shared the same title!
