€ 3.8 million gold coin stolen

in #news7 years ago

There are only 5(!) of it and those five are the second largest coins in the world: The Canadian Big Maple Leaf coin. One was now stolen.

As police reports the coin was stolen in the night to Monday out of the Bode Museum in Berlin.

The Big Maple Leaf coins were coined in 2007 and weight about 100kg. The coin is a circle of 53 cm and has 3 cm width.
How would you make a wallet for those coins, I wonder?

That sounds fishy..there must be something being cooked!

It's only fishy if you compare it to the gold standard.

No i mean it being stolen..from a museum. it's very heavy. I dont know but that's how it came to me.

Apparently they used a ladder - at least to climb in. But the rest nobody knows or wants to say.

That made it more fishy :)

det är bara fishy
