Marc Emery needed to have blind faith. I don't think his goal was to 'secure his legacy' as being involved with cannabis reform, despite how egotistical he is, i think Emery was praying if Dildeau got elected he wouldn't get thrown in jail for all the illegal dispensaries he was running across Canada. His only interest was securing his own financial interests and he fully expected to be allowed full reign to form some type of monopoly. Well, the government fucked him, just like the government fucks everybody!
