First of, I am not a fan of football or any sports lol!

I really don't understand the purpose of spending so much for Olympics or World Cup and such events other than greed and power play. I find it useless. What did it achieve? Let the poor suffer and let those with money enjoy. After the event, those that were put up for the event were abandoned. Money wasted.
