Czech videogame developers charged with spying are going to court

The Greek court will start on Wednesday with two Czechs charged with spying on the Greek army. Martin Pezlar and Ivan Buchta are flying to Greece on Monday. A few years ago, they spent four months in police custody. Greek officials claim that the employers of the videogame development company Bohemia Interactive were taking photographs of military building near the Turkish border. The man claim that they were just on holiday there.

"We believe in a fair trial from the Greek court and we hope that we will soon be able to return to normal family and work life." said Pezlar and Buchta.

The two Czechs were detained in September 2012 on the Island of Limnos. They are potentially facing up to 20 years of prison for the supposed spying. Other the the Czech diplomacy, more then 21 thousand people engaged in their support by signing a petition asking for their release.

The man have been working at the time of detainment for the Bohemia Interactive - a company making videogames like Operation Flashpoint or ArmA.
