Elon Musk: SpaceX - the road to Mars
Many scientists panic, when the question of over-population rises. And indeed, on an area of 144 000 km (Bangladesh) is home to over 142 million people.. For reference, in 2010 it is more than the population of Russia, with its open spaces in 17,125,191 km. Needless to say this suggests the question: "And what exactly do?". The answer is not quite clear - the colonization of the solar system.
Man has adapted to many of the difficult conditions in the establishment of the modern world. Someone quietly tolerate heat in 40, and some frost in -50, but are you ready to extreme 350 Celsius on the bright side of Mercury and -170 Celsius in the dark. Mercury makes a complete revolution in about 58 Earth days. Because of this, the colonizers will stay only at the poles, but
there is not sugar - 66 Celsius. Venus, with its dense atmosphere of poisonous gas, which in turn creates heat to 500 degrees, not even worth considering. Moon is also a good option, but in some ways it is even worse than Mars. The latter even has an atmosphere (albeit tenuous) that can protect at least a little of the solar radiation.
However, the last remains of our neighbor terrestrial - Mars. Quite a good option for the future of the colonialists, but the terraforming of the planet is very difficult and requires a lot of money
process. So "pervasham" will have to settle for residential units. Many are tormented by the question "What is complicated about sending men and food?". Good question, and the answer to it is good. fuel weight relative to the weight of the shipment must be at 285. In other words, if we want to send one gram load is on Mars, it would take 285 grams of fuel. With grams it is not that difficult, but with the equipment, people and provisions will have to tinker. In short, it is "stupid" expensive. Highly.
But the well-known businessman Elon Musk was going to send a colony on Mars and reach the size of a million people. Musk believes that so many people need to become autonomous colony. But the path is not close, but we still are not the most advanced technology. The trouble lies in the principle of the whole shipment: we have learned to take off the rocket, but landing is not going well. Roughly speaking, we use runways modules only 1 time. But the April 8, 2016 Musk and his colleagues were able to put Falcon9 SpaceX rocket on an offshore platform. This decrease in costs a whopping 20,000 times! But the point is not that what are the costs. For if
you want to transport a lot of cargo, the more fuel you need. Because of this need even more fuel. But SpaceX come up with a cunning plan. They build BGR carrier of this kind and a compartment for the crew will have a height of 40-storey skyscraper. First sent into orbit a small ship with people and supplies, and the acceleration module with return. Then it is hung by a crane ship fuel, which is then sent into orbit accelerator module and the first docks. And so it is not the best season to not spoil.
A couple of years ago, such a statement would take for complete nonsense, but now it can make a real breakthrough in space exploration. what do you think about this?
