Video of Mentally Ill Blind Man Shot Dead By Fontana PD Released

Sickening video footage has been released of a mentally ill , blind man being shot to death by the Fontana PD. He was 47 years old. 

The video was taken at a convenience store in the city of Fontana. The police were there because they received a call about a burglar in the area. The officers involved claim that the 47 , blind, schizoaffective man was holding a knife and a rock when they arrived. The video Isent enough to prove whether or not that claim is true. What is visible in the footage is the multiple police officers gunning down the suspected burglar when he tried moving from one aisle to the other. 

The video was released by the family of the victim last Wednesday because they are filing a wrongful death lawsuit against the PD and the video clearly supports their claim, which is that the officers escalated the encounter, which then resulted in Mr Halls death. The attorney for the family goes as far as saying this was more of an execution than an accident. 

12 officers are being mentioned in the lawsuit, claiming reckless and callous disregard for the constitutional rights of a citizen. What do you think? See more here
