The man with the plan, Chael P Sonnen ---> D American Gangster
Bellator made a really cool old school heavyweight grand prix, the champ will be the last man standing. We have a bunch of stars on board and every single one is a killer when stepping into the cage. Let me remind you not all fighters are heavyweights. The first fight that opened the show was a fight between Sonnen and Rampage Jackson. A weird matchup if you ask me, Rampage is a legit heavyweight now and is familiar with this kind of tourney format from way back, Japan days, Rampage was at one point one of the biggest stars there. A huge task for Chael, a huge challenge to overcome...
The gangster is and always will be a funny guy, he entertains us and makes a great show before the fight even happens. Before the fight, both fighters seemed cool, collective and showed respect toward each other. Of course, Chael had the smooth talk that we all know. They even made a bet for 10 000$ per every successful takedown, old school gangsters...
Intense staredown
Best Of Rampage Jackson & Chael Sonnen | MMA Highlights
Yeah, both ready to "bang", whatever that means:)
The fight itself was a display of great wrestling by Chael plus was holding on in the standup area as well. Rampage on the other side needs to change his game next time around, good cardio is something that a lot of heavyweights lack off, I love Rampage but maybe its time to close the show after a great career, what do yall think=?
You gotta love this guy, hahah...
I will also post about some other cool fights ---> Stay tuned!

I've watched both of these guys for the past 15 years. So I'm familiar with their past and accomplishments.
I think both of these guys are making a great living in a organization that is in desperate need of star power. Both athletes are not in their prime and it's the reason why the UFC does not have them under contract.
They are on the serious decline and Bellator need more marquee names to build their brand. So it works out for everyone involved. I mean come on. Not too long ago we had Ken Shamrock and Royce Gracie fighting for the third and final time, and Ken still got popped for steroids.
