Losing reputation, integrity, sponsorships and your legacy might be one of the worst things that can happen to any athlete. Anderson "The Spider" Silva almost went down that road and most of us fight fans were really bumped out when he tested dirty back in 2015. I am happy that USADA catches the cheaters but I hoped they were wrong on this one. Anderson lost fights and won fights in spectacular fashion and it would be a shame for such legend to be forgotten or remembered as a cheater.
It looks like things took a twist and now its clear that Anderson failed the test due to contaminated/tainted supplements and was not using steroids, so they say. We saw a lot of fighters fighting their case recently and actually go on and win the case proving they are in fact innocent.
Fun Fact: Frank Mir stated that he tasted positive due to contaminated kangaroo meat, lol, he did not win his case:)
