Positive Reflection on DTube Beneficiary
Hey there, Ken here @kenmelendez, excited to share on the topic of DTube beneficiary.
Right now is the time to be posting on DTube on a regular basis. The platform is growing as more users are moving away from the traditional YouTube that is centrally owned by Google.
If you are not on @dtube, I highly recommend that you start creating videos on their decentralized site and publishing a minimum of once per day.
For those who are unaware, when you create a post on DTube, they automatically attach a 25% beneficiary comment option.
See photo below...
To illustrate what this means, I will give you an example. Say for instance I post a video, and I earn $100 worth of Steem on that video. Seven days later, when that video is due to pay out to my wallet, the amount of rewards decreases from $100, down to $75.
That's outrageous! You might be thinking.
I want you to imagine for a moment that you are in the driver's seat of DTube, managing the site and keeping it running smoothly. What if you were in @heimindanger shoes for a minute...
DTube is a business, and businesses need funds to stay afloat. I want you to consider the costs involved in running a site like DTube such as staffing, coding, updating, curating, maintaining, payouts, and on and on.
DTube provides content creators with a platform to share our thoughts and opinions with the world. They also provide that content with upvotes that are worth a lot more than they were 6 months ago.
In my opinion, I welcome the 25% beneficiary on all videos. It is DTube's site and I want them to stay funded. In fact, I delegate a portion of my Steem Power to them to fund the project as a whole because I believe in the platform.
I've heard some negative comments recently about the new curation policies and updates that are happening. Please know that these changes are positive. DTube's Steem Power continues to expand which in the end is an excellent situation for them, for content creators, and for curators.
Bottom line, keep posting on DTube like you have been and do not get discouraged. They are still upvoting quality content. If you are not getting upvoted, then take some time to look at what measures you can take to improve your videos.
I plan on launching a personalized Steem Mastery coaching program by early next year which will assist you in becoming an unstoppable content creator. For those interested in getting more information on this program, please send an email to [email protected].
I hope that this vlog gave you some positive insight into DTube beneficiary. To see this in action, head over to steemworld.org/@yourusername under the heading "Account Operations", directly after you post a DTube video.
Please leave a comment below with your thoughts on this topic.
I will see you next time but until then, remember...YOU ARE AWESOME.
