Thousands of Residents Crowded Dead Whales
Thousands of residents crowded the burial process of four dead whales in Ujong kareung Beach, Mesjid Raya Sub-district, Aceh Besar, on Tuesday (14/11/2017).
Four of the ten sperm whales (Physeter macrocephalus) who were stranded on Ujong Kareung Beach, were declared dead on Tuesday (14/11).
While the other six whales successfully pulled into the middle of the sea by boat.
The four dead whales were successfully buried last night at the location of the herd of mammals stranded.
Four dead whales are in three separate locations, with a distance of about 100 meters between one another.
The digging process itself is forced to use the machine.
The 70-year-old whale also had a necropsy process by a team of doctors from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Unsyiah.

Thousands will be deeply saddened by the death of the whales. Protected marine animals due to their habitats are increasingly scarce, but death is inevitable

I feel sad because this is becoming frequent. I think the cause of these whale deaths need to be look into vigorously. Or is it as a result of age?.. may they rest in peace.
