In video: a Brazilian woman is stabbed in front of her 13-year-old daughter

A Brazilian woman was stabbed in front of her 13-year-old daughter during a fight with another woman on Friday, November 17, in the town of Macaé, Rio de Janeiro.

The video shows how the car of businesswoman Raquel Mello Motta, whose daughter was in the passenger seat, and another woman identified as Cristina Pereira de Souza enter the parking lot of their condominium and both descend from them.

Later, they begin a discussion that degenerates into a bodily fight. At that moment Pereira da Souza sticks an object to the businesswoman, who, injured, returns to her car and leaves.

The daughter of Mello Motta after the facts told the police that her mother could only drive the car about 10 meters before fainting. The victim was transferred to a hospital in Macaé, but he could not resist the injuries.

According to the newspaper Globo, the aggressor appeared on the following Tuesday at the police station and is in preventive detention.

The woman said she had acted in his defense. However, the doorman of the condominium stated as a testimony that it was the accused who attacked the victim first.
