The High Court has filed a writ petition against other internet service providers, including popular YouTube sites like Facebook and Video watching.

Six lawyers, including Barrister Mohammad Humayun Kabir, filed a writ on the relevant branch of the High Court on Monday (April 9th).

The writ petition seeks to determine how much money has been taken in the last 10 years by the expert committee and the committee to see how much money the companies are taking, making policies for the management of organizations, to bring all the Internet-based organizations under the tax.

The writ writers are: Secretary of the Ministry of Finance, Chairman of the National Board of Revenue, Chairman of the National Board of Revenue, Secretary of the Ministry of Law Ministry, Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications, Chairman of BTRC, Secretary of the Ministry of Information and Technology, First Secretary of Light and President of Bangladesh Newspapers Owners Association Motiur Rahman, Google , Facebook, Yahoo and YouTube authorities

The petitioner said that on Saturday (April 7th), six lawyers of the Supreme Court had sent legal notices through e-mails and couriers against Google, Facebook, and other Internet-related companies' revenue gaps.

Barrister Humayun Kabir Pallab said the writ petition has not been responded to the notice within 24 hours.
