All of which can share data via a block chain – are creating and updating records which are the documentary.

Regarding who might utilise the system that is proposed Xerox shows "regional medical centre systems or multi-national corporations" might think it applies to their needs.

One of the applications explain:

"In one embodiment, the auditing system utilizes an encryption process, such as for instance public key cryptography, to signal all record changes in an electronic document (because of the private fifty per cent of a key set) also to validate that records haven't been altered (with the general public 50 % of key pair). This is important in ensuring the protection of record modifications before they're fixed within the blockchain. The safety of this disclosed system and method may improve once the os becomes bigger."

Particularly, it is that use that is first – health care – that Xerox has honed in on in the reasonably few statements the company has made on blockchain up to now.
