I do think the lightning network would be helpful but i don't see bitcoin doing too bad without it either .People are starting to think of Bitcoin as gold 2.0 and i think simply because of that it may not even need lightning network to stay as for the current price movements this is extremely healthy for bitcoin in the long run .Bitcoin is actually going through a healthy correction,here's a post where i try to technically breakdown what's happening with bitcoin currently. https://steemit.com/bitcoin/@jsonkidd/btc-technical-analysis
