What happens in Venezuela?

in #news6 years ago (edited)
I have lived in Venezuela all my life and there is nothing better than telling you what happens in this country that someone who lives in first person every day. I have noticed that many news that can be read about Venezuela do not tell what happens with complete honesty, always reserving what they think is convenient, so I decided to explain everything about it.

WHAT HAPPENS IN VENEZUELA?

Venezuela is a country located in South America, which has the largest oil reserves in the world (approximately 300,878,033 million barrels for the year 2015 according to The Universal review Fuente) It also has 7,000 tons of reserves of gold, copper, diamond, coltan, iron, bauxite and other minerals which makes this country one of the richest in natural resources in the region.

However, with so much wealth that this country has, we find a high rate of poverty, insecurity, unhealthiness and shortage of food as well as medicine. Here the poor are getting poorer every day and the middle class is disappearing, they have simply become poor with beautiful houses. It has reached such a point that malnutrition in the Venezuelan population has been more than evident in every corner of the country, children being the most affected by the severe crisis, ABC reports that 5 to 6 children die from malnutrition on a weekly basis Fuente

(This video was published on June 2, 2017; today inflation in the country is 2,616 %.)

Venezuela currently occupies the first place with the highest inflation in the world, on January 8 of this year the National Assembly of the country published the cumulative inflation with which closed the year 2017 the Venezuelan economy, yielding the figure of 2,616%. In the report of the National Assembly also mentions that in December the economy closed with 85% inflation and for the scarce 8 days of the month of January has already increased 18% the figure. In this way the pocket of the Venezuelan is severely affected, which with a minimum integral salary of 797,510 bolivars (6.13 $ USD at change) cannot access the payment of the basic basket of the country, which is located in 13,883,365 bolivars (106.79 $ USD in exchange) which highlights the serious crisis that is occurring in the country.

Along with all this food and economic disaster that the country is experiencing due to the shortage of food and the serious economic problem, we also find great health problems in clinics and hospitals throughout the national territory, mainly due to a shortage of medicines and medical supplies, to such point the country has arrived, that the pharmacies are empty and in the hospitals the patients must bring their own medicines, ampoules, serums and gauzes with which they must be assisted.

This is a video taken at the Luis Razetti Hospital in Barinas, Venezuela. One of the many videos that you can find on the Internet, but this is the most recent.

This whole problem began mainly when a foreign exchange control was first created in the country, where the government controlled all the foreign exchange, in this way the Venezuelan population and the companies could only access small sums at a rate established by the government and the central bank of the country, which created a parallel rate called "Black Dollar" managed by a company, DolarToday. This coupled with the massive expropriations of businesses and cultivable land by the national government, increased the crisis that was already being noticed in the country, however it was not until the arrival of the current President Nicolás Maduro, when the crisis was asserted and life inside the country became impossible.

After the arrival of the current president, the population and many companies could not access the foreign exchange legally, therefore the companies chose to resort to the only market that was open for all the Black Dollar which increased prices significantly and I shoot inflation in a brutal way. After terrible economic policies and a blatant political and military corruption, Venezuela has fallen into an abyss that seems to have no bottom.

WHAT HOPES HAVE VENEZUELA?

Truth be told, few. The Venezuelan opposition is in the same position as the government, corrupt people who call themselves opposition but in reality continues to keep the government in power, because in the end their goals are the same ... money. Until recently the opposition was united in a single block called MUD (Democratic Unity Table) which was divided and created a new opposition block called 16J, its name comes from the popular consultation made to the people on July 16, year 2017 where a mandate was given to the National Assembly and this had the duty to obey, but the opposite happened. Block 16J fights to enforce this mandate while the MUD struggles to silence them, maintaining a useless dialogue with the government that only gives oxygen to stay in power.

On January 5 of this year a new directive was established in the National Assembly, where the president of said institution said the following: "It is essential to determine the main cause that has turned our country, with so many human and natural resources, into a factory of poor people. " Fuente

This declaration is absurd, after almost 18 years of a corrupt government and what is more serious, committed to criminal activities of drug trafficking, in addition that has created a totalitarian socialism, which has destroyed the rule of law, sunk the country in a economic chaos, violence and repression through a fraudulent National Constituent Assembly, which was not named at any time in the speech of the current president of the National Assembly, Omar Barboza.

We all know that the only cause of destruction and chaos in the country is the National Government. It is surprising that someone can ask the reasons for what is happening in Venezuela, and how the tragedy of the country can be solved. They want to hide that the essence of totalitarianism is the displacement and annulment of everything that is different, the destruction of any competition, the repression of any dissidence. Any inventiveness of coexistence with this regime is impossible.

I end this post with the following video:

Two solutions:
Vegetable gardens
And herb gardens

Growing your vegetables is worth more than all your effort on Steemit. It is the true CryptoCurrency!!

Growing Herbs is growing medicine! Herbs can heal all of your common illnesses. And just a small consumption of many herbs everyday can keep your body healthy and avoid sickness!

These both should be super popular in Venezuela. No more dependence on the government. Gain survival and freedom for yourself!!

HAHAHA with herb according to you, hunger and diseases would be solved? Wow, it's really a good idea. Hahaha It is not bad to laugh in difficult times

One step closer. Better than wait for government to fix problems.... That always just gives dissapointment.

And yes...laughter is always good during hard times!!
Peace

Very interesting. Didn't know about the Black Dollar until now.

It is something that for 3 years has had more relevance due to the lack of foreign
foreign exchange in the country. Thanks for read me.

It's sad when your country is corrupt and there is little hope for people living there. This is simply a bad example of one of the worst case scenarios that can happen to a country. Yet I think that not many people care since they are living good lives.

Thank you for pointing this out as people need to understand some things about our world.

It is a harsh reality that many people live on a daily basis, it is very regrettable. That is why we all have to be aware and prevent these regimes from reaching other countries to destroy them. thanks for reading my post

정부의 역할이 어떤한 결과가 나오는 지 알게 되어 너무 슬프네요 저 누워있는 사람 그저 평범한시민일텐데요
하루빨리 안정되면 좋겠습니다

I can not understand your comment, but thanks for reading the post and commenting.

There is no country that does not have her own challenges but some are more intense than others. Stay positive and things will be fine.

@seyiodus.

That's right, it's unfortunate that many countries are going through a lot of bad times, only because of some people who are in power who only want wealth for themselves without thinking about the problems they generate for the population.
