I was kinda assuming that was the most logical explanation, which is why i said it was "likely"
i do find it odd that they were charged with child traffickign and it has been months with no details on that specific charge
do you think that perhaps the defense does have the evidence, but it has just been gagged from the media?
I would think, especially in this case, that the defense would not want to publicize any evidence it has because it would show their client to be guilty and that they would want to avoid publicity as much as possible. You only want publicity if you are innocent.
