Agreed - I was thinking the exact same thing.. and if anything it would just help "legitimize" bitcoin for people on the fence investing in it. Although if by worse you mean the price is going to go up you're right...although that would've happened in the long run regardless.

By the way, I've just put a little chunk of my Roth IRA into Bitcoin and feel like it's one of the best decisions I've ever made. My parents think I'm crazy but they don't get it :)
