The police shooting of a man in Charlotte, N.C., led to overnight protests and unrest. Protesters threw rocks at police. 16 officers injured. An interstate was shut down. Protesters set a fire and vandalized police cars.
So what started these protests Tuesday night? Well, close to the University of North Carolina, Charlotte, police shot and killed 43-year-old Keith Lamont Scott at an apartment complex. Scott was a black man.
Officers were serving a warrant on another person when they saw Scott in a car then somewhere in the timeline Scott allegedly came out of his vehicle with a handgun. Scott was commanded to drop his weapon and according to authorities he refused to do so and was subsequently shot by a black police officer. The facts differ based on whether you listen to the bereaved family or law enforcement. Authorities say witnesses confirmed police officer's accounts and law enforcement further state that a handgun was recovered at the scene.
Are these riotous protests just a continuation of the racial agitating BLM + Black Panther Movement? Is the narrative set By the previous events at Ferguson and subsequent racially motivated riots being played out in Charlotte?

I guarantee you most of the rioters are just part of the unrest for the heck of it. There no reason for anybody to get in that much of an uproar over the death of someone you never knew existed until the news broke and that someone will never know you existed. Its looting and vandalizing for the sake of looting and vandalizing. Don't use the death of a unknown person as a reason for malicious activity. Just saying.

peeps here get this upset over sports games.. so it's funny what will trigger some folks, for some it's simply seeing a piece of fabric burning that will trigger them lol
