US Openly Siezing and Occupying Syrian Oil Fields

What has been known, or at least suggested by many outside of the controlled corporate western media, is that the US presence in Syria has nothing to do with defeating terrorism, or fighting 'evil' dictators, but rather everything to do with oil. Stealing Syria's oil that is. The location of the US occupation of Syria in its northeast is a telltale sign, for that is where majority of Syria's oilfields are.

But now this fact can no longer be considered a crazy 'conspiracy theory' by any; for it has now been documented that the US is indeed seizing and occupying Syria's oil fields, as the above photo shows, screenshot taken from Kurdistan 24 TV. Iraqi Kurdistan24 television has just released the first footage documenting this.

And that US troop 'withdrawal' Trump announced some time ago? Well, it has officially been reversed, as many more troops, along withmilitary equipment and tanks are being deployed to the Deir Ezzor region where the oil fields are, and which is also the border area between the SAA controlled territory (Syrian Arab Army), the US occupation, and a little haven of ISIS terrorists the SAA continues to slowly eradicate - which ironically were already 'defeated' according to Trump when he announced above mentioned 'withdrawal. Now we're moving back in full force to re-defeat them I guess? That's what an official US military spokesman for the occupying forces in Syria announced in a Tweet on Thursday, that this US troop surge was being done to "defeat ISIS remnants" (already 'defeated' according to Trump), and "to protect critical infrastructure" - that apparently being the oil fields as has now been clearly documented.

But of course it was also president Trump who, even as far back as the last presidential campaign, said we needed to be in Syria to take its oil, so this really shouldn't be surprising to anyone who hasn't already been paying attention, and who doesn't understand how US foreign policy actually works. Ironically, the US is now also violating it's own sanctions against Syria in order to steal its oil!

As recently as October 13th, US Defense Secretary Mark Esper said all 1,000 US troops in northeastern Syria would be withdrawn. But then on October 25 he said rather there would be a "reduced presence" citing concern regarding ISIS terrorists controlling oil fields.

"The United States will maintain a reduced presence in Syria to deny ISIS access to oil revenue as we reposition for the next phase of the Defeat-ISIS campaign," Esper said. A complete contradiction to Trump's earlier statements regarding total defeat of course...

But instead, this "reduced presence" has now over the past week turned into a complete surge.

Last weekend the Russian Defense Ministry published aerial images of what it said is clear proof of Syrian crude oil being massively smuggled outside of the country “under the strong protection of the US,” RT reported.

This alleged smuggling of oil was taking place well before the now open show of theft of Syrian resources by US occupation forces currently taking place.

The trucks taking part in the smuggling operations were being protected by “US troops and the personnel of the US private military companies,” Defense Ministry spokesperson Major General Igor Konashenkov said as reported by RT.

Whenever a convoy gets attacked, the US special forces and military jets are being called in to defend it.

What Washington is doing right now is seizing and holding the oilfields in eastern Syria under its armed control, which is tantamount to international state-sponsored banditry.

It now appears these crazy 'conspiratorial' claims have been vindicated by the recent and current actions of the US Occupation, as this is exactly what is now taking place. Only difference is the US is no longer simply protecting their proxies, but appear to be taking part in the occupation and theft of the Syrian oil themselves.

And what does Trump have to say about all of this? Well, he says he's seeking to make a plan with Exxon Mobile or some other Big Oil company to go into Syria and take their oil.

“What I intend to do, perhaps, is make a deal with an ExxonMobil or one of our great companies to go in there and do it properly...and spread out the wealth,” he said (last Sunday).

The secret is now out in the open. US is in Syria to steal their oil. Only question is, will the madness ever end?
