Banda Aceh - Vice Governor of Aceh, Ir. Nova Iriansyah MT., Became Inspector of Ceremony in commemoration of National Education Day 2018, at Blang Padang Square Banda Aceh, Wednesday (02/05/2018) morning.

Vice Governor of Nova read the speech of the Minister of Education and Culture Muhajir Effendi, mentions Hardiknas 2018 is the right momentum to reflect on the close relationship between education and culture. Moreover, Hardiknas this year has a theme of strengthening education and promoting culture.

"Culture is the root of national education," said Vice Governor Nova.

The commemoration of National Education Day 2018, Nova said, also serves as a momentum for the glory and reflection of the efforts that have been fought in the field of education.

"We need to ponder for a moment to look back, see what we have done in the field of education, to then rush forward," Nova said.

Along with the advance of education, said Nova, culture is also important to put forward. Moreover, advanced culture is one of the prerequisites that must be met to advance education. "The advanced culture will make our education stronger as well."

As a superpower in terms of cultural wealth, the Indonesian nation needs to prepare a strategic step in the form of efforts to protect, develop, utilize, and coaching in order to realize a sovereign Indonesian society politically, economically independent, and personable in culture.

In addition, said Nova, the government also continues to build infrastructure and facilities that reach all areas in Indonesia. The development must be accompanied by strengthening of human resources. In that sense, the roles and responsibilities of education and culture are so great.

Nevertheless, the vastness of Indonesia has not been all the regions touched by the development of infrastructure that can be the belt of education and culture in the bonds keindonesiaan.

In the coming years, the government is committed to prioritizing infrastructure development in the foremost, outlying, and underdeveloped areas so that these areas are integrated and connected into educational and cultural services
