Government of Aceh and BPJS Sign Cooperation
The cooperation was signed by Vice Governor of Aceh, Nova Iriansyah and Director of Expansion and Service of BPJS Participant Andayani Budi Lestari.
In his speech, Nova reminded BPJS Health not to be late to pay health service claims. During this time, said Nova, there are still many late payment claims.
"Since BPJS and JKN have been improved, we hope there will be no delay in payment of claims, especially in Aceh," Nova said.
"We have a red thread of the history of the birth of BPJS, JKN, so it's natural that we ask for the specificity," said Nova again.
Nova believes, for the year 2018 there will be no more delay, because the communication patterns of the Government of Aceh and BPJS Health has been improved both at regional and national levels.
"We already have a commitment to communicate every problem on the occasion of the theme as soon as possible so that all problems we can solve together," said Nova.
Nova also said that much still needs to be addressed and improved related to the implementation of health insurance. Socialization should also be more vigorous done to the community.
"We ask for the commitment of all parties, whether it is from the Government element or from BPJS, and also other related parties, in order to keep working hard, so that the service to the community can be improved," Nova said.
Meanwhile, Director of Expansion and Service BPJS Participant Andayani Budi Lestari, said for 2018, BPJS Health will carry out digital verification. This was done so that no more meetings or discussions between doctors with BPJS employees because it has been done with the system.
"We hope with the verification of this system, if the hospital filed the claim in an orderly manner and correct and complete, then we will more quickly verification process," said Andayani.
On the occasion, the Head of Aceh Health Office, dr. Hanif, said that although the service standards set by BPJS between 2017 and 2018 remain the same, the Government of Aceh will provide additional services beyond the established cooperation with BPJS.
"So on-top, besides the standard BPJS we added services in accordance with the ability of the Government as conveyed by the Vice Governor of Aceh," said Hanif. The supplementary service is to provide a patient referral service from a region with 1 assistant, in which the return transportation fee is borne by the Government of Aceh, including the cost of repatriation, if the referred patient dies. In addition, patients are also provided with wheelchair assistance, if there are medical indications in which the patient is required to use a wheelchair.
"We hope that with the efforts of the Aceh Government, health services in Aceh will be better," said Hanif.
