Aceh Government Delivers Assistance To Dayah Nur Yaqdhah Aceh Selatan

Aceh Selatan - Governor of Aceh, Irwandi Yusuf through Vice Governor of Aceh, Nova Iriansyah distributing aid for panic fire for Dayah Nur Yaqdhah in Kuta Trieng Village, West Labuhanhaji District, Tuesday (05/06/2018).

Also accompanying Vice Governor, Sekda Aceh Selatan, Head of Aceh Social Service, Al-Hudri, Head of Disaster Management Agency of Aceh Teuku Ahmad Dadek and other officials.

Assistance handed in the form of food clothing such as clothing, mukena, blankets, plywood, groceries and various other needs.

"Every disaster there must be a lesson, especially this happened in the last third of Ramadan," Nova said after delivering the aid received directly by the leader of Dayah.

Nova asked the Social Service and BPBA to coordinate with other related agencies to help rebuild the burning santri booth.

Nova hopes the santri and the leader of dayah to keep the spirit and rise again from the disaster.

"Hopefully teaching and learning activities can return as usual, with the support of all of us," said Nova. Nova also said that for this year, the Aceh Government through the Dayah Agency has also budgeted 1.2 billion worth of funds for the Dayah Nur Yaqdhah Dormitory Development.

Meanwhile, Aceh Head of Social Services Al-Hudri said Aceh Social Agency had previously distributed panicky assistance through the Social Department of South Aceh District.

"But at the request of the Governor and Vice Governor, we were asked to go straight to the location of the fire," said Hudri.

On the occasion, the head of BPBA, Ahmad Dadek said that the Government of Aceh through the BPBA will build a temporary housing worth 200 million so that learning activities after the holidays can be run properly.

"The mechanism will be discussed again, whether we submit the building materials or through a third party," said Dadek.

Dayah led by Tgk. Shukri Waly (Abu Muda) was experiencing fire accident, Monday (06/04/2018) morning. Dozens of santri booths and clothes and thousands of burnt books.

The fire did not claim any casualties because the students were on holiday and returned to their respective villages. The material loss is estimated to reach hundreds of millions of rupiah.
