Weird News: Naked School in Japan
How would you like to go to school naked? No, me neither, but that is what this Japanese bathhouse is doing to stay alive as patrons of bathhouses in the country have fallen significantly as younger generations haven't bought in to the tradition. So, one bathhouse - the Hinodeyu - holds lectures on a topic that rotates month to month.
These lectures range from local issues - such as stray cats - to broader topics like comedy. Bathers can enjoy the lecture, and their bath, for what amounts to roughly $4. One must wonder how much longer this industry can last.
Unless they go coed...
