Arctic Fox
The Arctic fox is the species that lives in the Arctic, ie in the polar regions of the northern hemisphere. The size is a bit less than the fox of temperate areas. In the winter does not fall into hibernation like other animals. It is a carnivorous animal usually fed with rotten whale meat or litter from the victims of polar bears. It also feeds on smaller animals such as hares, amphibians and vulnerable seal pups that have been removed from their flock. She builds her hide under the surface of the ground. It can withstand temperatures up to -70 degrees Celsius. As one of the largest carnivorous animals in the Arctic Circle, it has not many enemies. The more vulnerable are the bullets. Born once a year to 15 puppies at the beginning of the summer and after breastfeeding some months they are quite independent to live the Arctic winter alone. She is highly sought after for her skin, which in winter is white so she can not easily be distinguished from her prey or her enemies between the snow and the summer becomes brown. It features the warmest fur of all mammals.
