Former South Korean President Jailed 24 Years

Former South Korean President Park Geun-Haiyi has sentenced him to 24 years in prison. The South Korean court on Friday (April 6th) gave the verdict. The court gave its verdict on Park Geun-Hye's accusations of abuse of power, corruption and harassment.

News CNN In power, allegations of abuse of power, bribery and corruption are brought against the former president. Then there was a massive protest across the country to demand his trial. After more than 10 months of hearing, a number of criminal charges have been proved against former president. It also includes power abuse and corruption.

During the pronouncement of the verdict, Judge Kim Si Un said that the accused has been convicted for misuse of power.
