Proof that walls can actually work... 🌀 Israel
This just happened today at Gush Etzion junction, which is a few minutes away from Jerusalem. (This type of terror attack has been increasing lately, and will only result in a self-inflicted loss of rights... (NB: A row of road bollards is a type of wall to me.)
Only light injuries to the people waiting for the bus were inflicted. The attempted murderer was shot and injured, and is in hospital...

I agree that practically any wall in the public space will be ugly and invasive to those on both of its sides, but sometimes they are what is required under a given set of circumstances. Though they might have seen a more innocent need for it, thank G-d, and those with the appropriate foresight for the bollard wall... ב"ה / B"H...
Somehow, may these walls/fences help lead to peace. If nothing else, by slowly growing the desire in both parties' hearts to have them removed, and everything that would necessarily entail... ב"ה / B"H...
