Heavy rain ravages in Japan, 200 deaths so far, millions of people homeless
Due to heavy rains in Japan, life has completely devastated. The torrential rains that have continued for the fifth consecutive day have added to the problems of people and administration. According to local media reports, so far 200 people have died due to floods. More than four dozen people are being reported missing.
Around 73,000 army personnel, police and fire fighting teams are engaged in the fight against the flood. Along with this, 83 helicopters and dozens of ships have been deployed for rescue. They are looking for missing people.
Explain that such a disaster has occurred in Japan almost four decades later. Earlier, such a disaster had occurred in 1976. Industry and business have also been impressed with the continuous rains since many days. In view of the loss of life and property, many companies have stopped production work.
According to the information, the local Meteorological Department has warned of rain for some more days. Things are worst in Western Japan. Some villages are completely submerged, where some people have taken refuge in the roofs of their houses till reaching help. At the same time, millions of people have left their homes because of the flood. It is notable that Prime Minister Shinzo Abe has instructed to continue the rescue operation on Wednesday.
