RE: The Attack on Syria

in #news6 years ago (edited)

The entire problem I have at this moment is that is it claimed that the Syrian People

The day of the attacks, the Syrian people are reported to have danced in the street. This is not a typical consequence of a population suffering from a substantial bombing by US forces.

But I Only have seen one photo with a small group of men on the back of a truck/suv with flags, being circulated as evidence of dancing in the streets. It reminds me of many people in Texas who were flying large flags from their trucks after 9/11. Were those guys dancing in the streets? I think not.

I have looked around a bit and seen other pics, and watched the report of OAN who sent a reporter in and spoke with folks on the ground. The reports of Syrian people being overjoyed seem to be borne out, and substantiated.

Ok but I think that everything is staged just like the fake chemical attacks. There is something much bigger going on. I have a gut feeling about this and Syria is just a distraction.
Honestly you an I can produce a staged event anytime we desire. Think about it.

@valued-customer Yes, the Syrians were overjoyed, b/c the Syrian air defenses were shooting down the missiles! There's also many social media posts from the time of the airstrikes of Syrians mocking Trump & the US strikes, so I don't think they were happy we were dropping bombs, but that the strikes failed miserably in the eyes of the Syrian people (and Israel as well!).

This seems to be correct. However, I note that the US/Allied missiles were used as cover by Assad and Putin to conduct assaults on the terrorists, reclaiming Ghouta for Syria at that time.

While the perceptions of civilian non-combatants are obviously and notoriously controlled by the statements of politicians and reports of wholly owned enemedia, I believe the actual truth to be other than what the public is told.

The only reason I mention the perceptions of the Syrian people is that had the attack significantly harmed them, they would not have been happy. The US is capable of such an attack, and did not prosecute it.

Thus, the US was not intent on harming the Syrian people in the latest attack, and every indication exists that the attack was coordinated with the Syrian and Russian governments in order to destroy terrorist bases in Syria--a strategy completely opposite what has been American foreign policy since at least 9/11.

I do not claim this is definitive proof of Trump's opposition to the policies of prior regimes in the US, but that this is evidence that such a policy change may have been undertaken.

Thanks!
